As we saw in the previous article, I chose to fly around the world with an aircraft I have never flown.
It is therefore essential that I go through a phase of getting started with the device.

This whole process will take place on the Pontoise site (LFPT), located in Ile de France.
This choice can be explained simply : it is the land closest to my place of residence.
It will also be the starting point of the adventure and its point of arrival.

For this I will run the following program:

First phase : discovery of the device
—> Installation on board and learning about the environment
—> Repetition of the main checklists & procedures
—> Fuel requirement calculations
—> Getting started

Second phase : First flight
—> Taxiing
—> Understanding of engine torque management
—> Takeoff in normal conditions
—> Initial climb
—> Track laps (LFPT)

Third phase : Handling in flight
—> Ascents and descents en route
—> Committed turns
—> Low speed flight
—> Stall and stall recovery

Fourth phase : First navigation
—> Return flight between Pontoise (LFPT) and Rouen (LFOP)
—> Use of different guidance systems
—> Use of AP
—> ILS approaches

Fifth phase : Validation tests
—> Long distance flight between Pontoise (LFPT) to Lézignan-Corbières (LFMZ)
—> Revision of procedures
—> Handling tests
—> High altitude flight with oxygen management

Once all this learning is over, I’ll be ready to go!
And, to be honest with you, I can’t wait!
